Setanta travelled down to Pairc Naomh Moling to take on St. Mullins in the Carlow U-13 Mini League Hurling Div 2 last Friday June 1st.

Setanta started off strongly with a goal from play from David Bolger after 1 minute. This was followed by a goal from play from the hurl of Shane McCarthy. David Jacob and David Bolger followed with 4 further goals from play and these were followed by a further two goals from play from Conor Treacy and Shane McCarthy. The half time score was St. Mullins 2-1; Setanta 8-0.

In the second half Setanta got a well deserved point from play from Ben Yeates from about 40 yards out. David Bolger stroke again with two further goals from play after which Ronan Sullivan scored a free from distance. Conor Treacy latched on a further point from play followed by a goal from David Bolger and Shane McCarthy. The final score was St. Mullins 3-2; Setanta 12.3.

Overall this was a well deserved win for the U13's and they now share the lead on the U13 league with Naomh Eoin (Myshall).
